Whether youre assessing the needs of a new resident, making sure all safeguarding policies are being acted on, taking part in audits, or ensuring were keeping scrupulous records, youll make sure your team is reaching the highest standards. Well also look to you to oversee the administration of medicines by your team in line with NMC regulations, and manage stock levels effectively. Above all, youll be an inspirational leader, supporting, supervising and mentoring your team at every turn, and ensuring they have the clinical training they need to provide the very best care.

To join us, youll need a current NMC registration, RN (General) and evidence of a mentoring or supervision qualification. Youve already spent time working with older people, and have acted as a clinical mentor, including supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship. Whats more, youve proved youre a natural leader and problem solver, with a can-do attitude, a resilient nature and a track record of delivering improvements in care.

Up-to-date with the most recent clinical practices, you also have professional experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments. Youll also need an understanding of regulatory frameworks, as well as DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical Guidelines.
