Allied Healthcare are looking for caring and passionate individuals to join our team of Care Assistants providing support to our clients in the comfort of their own home. We are holding immediate interviews for Southsea & surrounding areas
As a care worker you will provide personal care and support to clients with a wide range of needs; from assisting them to get up & go to bed, to helping them dress & undress and wash, bath and shower. You may also assist them with their personal hygiene, medication, preparation of food and drink and light general household domestic duties including housework and laundry.
We are looking for experienced carers as well as people who want to begin their career in care. You should be able to understand and relate to the needs and issues faced, be considerate and patient, with good listening and communication skills. You must be conscientious, reliable and able to manage diverse and difficult situations in a calm manner. Flexibility is a key requirement, the needs of our clients must come first.
Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check
